About
Rob MacLellan, B.A., B.Ed., Dip. Ed., M.Ed.
I believe strongly in the importance of communities, and in the added value that non-profit organizations bring to the communities that they serve. It is my personal mission to enhance the quality of life of fellow Nova Scotians through my support of non-profit organizations in our great province.
I have had extensive experience with and on volunteer boards of non-profit organizations in Nova Scotia, Alberta and Manitoba. As a volunteer board member, I have served in all Executive Officer capacities. I have served as the senior staff person for other organizations. I have been the chief architect and founder of other non-profits. In support of my roles, I have conducted extensive research into all organizational operations and at every turn, I have sought out opportunities to expand my skills and knowledge.
As a career educator, practicing most recently as senior staff person for non-profits whose missions were centred around providing educational programs for adults who left school before completing their high school diplomas, I am well versed in service delivery encompassing adult learning principles.
I have an unrivalled passion for work with non-profits, and I believe that all non-profit organizations, whether small or large, should have access to the resources and training that they need in order to grow their organizations. To these ends, I offer variable rates based on the organization’s income level.
In August, 2015, I opened three seasonal guest rental cottages near the Bay of Fundy in Economy, NS. I take bookings at any time for the next season. The cottages are available on a weekly basis, minimum, from the end of May to early October.
